Definition:
Passive voice is a grammatical construction where the subject of the sentence receives the action of the verb, rather than performing the action. In passive voice sentences, the focus is on the action rather than the doer. Passive voice is formed using a form of the verb "to be" (such as is, am, are, was, were, has been, have been, had been) followed by the past participle of the main verb.
Formula:
